The weirdest thing: thousands of these little beetle bugs decided to make one of our trees their home. The boys LOVED them. :) We’ve never noticed them before, but this year there were so MANY of them it was impossible not to notice them. Pretty cool.
BONUS WILDLIFE SPECIAL: the Cicada Killer
We also got to see something pretty cool – a cicada killer that had a locust and was carrying it to her nest. That wasp was impressively strong and has the same effect as a helicopter, blowing the dirt on the ground all around while it flew around. He was pretty cool to watch.
